Steven is a frequent speaker on Medicare Secondary Payer issues at CLEs for the Washington State Association for Justice. He is the editor of the WSAJ Subrogation Deskbook and author of the chapters on Medicare and Federal Government subrogation. He is a member of the National Association of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals and has served on the Medicare Secondary Payer sub-committee with the American Association for Justice.
As a practicing, personal injury attorney since 2002, Steven brings a practitioner’s perspective to the issues facing both plaintiff and defense attorneys dealing with injury claims. Steve earned his B.A. from San Jose State University in California in 1998 and his J.D. from Seattle University in 2002. Licensed to practice law in Washington State, Steven is a member of the King County Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Washington State Association for Justice, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Association for Justice.
Debby Peck graduated with a J.D. from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark law school. After graduating, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Steven J. Hansen in the Utah Fourth District Court. Prior to focusing on Medicare Secondary Payer compliance, she had background in Contract, Internet, and Intellectual Property law. She currently lives in Kenmore, Washington, with her husband and four children. She enjoys reading and swimming in her spare time
